Today we finished area and perimeter with dimensional analysis.  I am attaching the powerpoint and worksheet.  I will post the answers tomorrow.  Tonight you need to work on your study guide.  We will go over the answers tomorrow in class.  Be prepared so that we have plenty of time for questions.  Your unit 1 test is Wednesday.

Wednesday and Thursday (8/13 & 8/14)

Sorry, I did forget to post the work from yesterday.  We are working on graphing equations.  We started with just graphing ordered pairs, then we moved to graphing lines 3 ways.  Today (8/14) we worked more on graphing equations.  Tomorrow we will move to graphing inequalities.

Monday August 11

Today we finished literal equations and started on solving 1 and 2 step inequalities.  We work these just like equations.  I am attaching the notes from today.  You should complete the homework for tomorrow.  We also had a homework check.  If you missed class on Friday, you will need to make up the quiz ASAP.

Thursday August 7

Today we worked on 1- and 2-step equations. Below are the worksheets.  If you need some extra help with solving 2-step equations, I am also attaching a powerpoint.  We will have our first quiz tomorrow.  It will be over parts of an equations vocabulary, words into math equations, 1- and 2-step equations.  Make sure you study the vocab because I know you can do the rest.

Wednesday 8-6-14

Today, we started unit 1.  We got the words into math handout.  This will help us to write expressions and equations.  We started the writing equations worksheet, you should finish it at home.  Last we got our vocabulary for unit 1.  Tomorrow we will be solving and writing equations.
