Tuesday October 28

Today in 1st Block we worked on Geometric Sequences.  You have homework for tonight.  I am attaching the worksheet here.

2nd Block:  We started to review for the test.  Worked more sequences problems (same as the homework for 1st block), and more growth and decay problems.  We will finish our review tomorrow.

4th Block:  We finished decay and started Geometric Sequences.

1st Block:   Today we worked more in class problems on exponential growth and decay.  You did receive your study guide, if you wanted a copy early.

2nd Block:  We started on Geometric Sequences today.  I am attaching the notes and worksheets.

4th Block:  We started Exponential Growth today.  We will work on decay tomorrow.

Test Thursday for 1st and 2nd Block, Friday for 4th Block.

Today we finished the transformations packet.  I gave you the graphic organizer with all the transformations on it.  You need to finish the back of the worksheet from the other day and the one attached here.

Today you got your study guide.  I am attaching a blank copy here and the answers.  Your test is tomorrow!!!  You decided it would be tomorrow.  I am not giving any extra time on this test.  If you study and work problems, you will be just fine.

Today we worked on Arithmetic Sequences.  I am attaching notes, classwork and homework.  We will finish sequences tomorrow.  Both class agreed to take their test on Thursday rather than Friday since we have a pep rally Friday afternoon.   So Unit 3A test will be on Thursday!!!  Be prepared!!!

Today we learned how to calculate average rate of change.  This is similar to slope.  Attached are the notes and ppt.  Your homework is pages 216 - 218 in your workbook.

Wednesday October 1

Today, we continued to work on linear functions.  We have two worksheets on evaluating functions at a given x.  I am attaching them if you did not get a copy today.  They are due tomorrow.  You will have a quiz on Friday over linear functions.  Monday will begin sequences and our test will be on Friday October 10th.
