Wednesday November 19

Today we finished unit 5 with dilations.  I am attaching the notes.  We went over even and odd functions.  These will not be on your test, but you will need to know them for the final and the Milestone (EOCT).  Tomorrow, we will work on our sudyt guides, study island and we will learn parallel and perpendicular lines.  This will not be on the test, but will be helpful for the EOCT.

Monday November 17

Happy Monday!!!

Today we finished reflections and started on rotations.  I am attaching the notes and worksheets.  Tomorrow we will finish rotations and work on Glide Reflections, which is a translations and a reflection.  We will have a check for understanding tomorrow.  And the the Unit 5 test is Friday!!!  I will have your study guides ready on Wednesday at the latest.

1st & 2nd Block
Today we took our pre-test for unit 5.  We also work on translations and reflections today.  I am attaching the notes.  Remember we will finish this unit before Thanksgiving Break!!!  I will not be taking up homework for a grade in this unit.  Keep working on Study Island.  You will have a homework check for understanding everyday for your bonus points.

Today we finished Unit 4.  We went over shape of data and causation vs. correlation.  I am attaching the notes and the answers to the study guide.  You will not have a problem like the last problem on the study guide.  I forgot to delete it.

Today we learned how to calculate line of best fit.  I am attaching the steps and the worksheet from class.  Remember that you will not get these steps on the EOC so you need to memorize them!!!  You write the equation of the line as y = ax + b
